A small studio with a big obsession.
Devpolis is the one-man studio of Wassim Refai — founder, designer and developer. Four years, thirty projects, one promise: websites that look expensive and convert like they are.
One person, zero middlemen.
Devpolis started with a simple observation: local businesses deserve the same polish as international brands — but nobody was building it for them, in their language, at a fair price. So I built it myself.
Every project here goes through one pair of hands: mine. From the first sketch to the last line of code, I design, build and ship each website personally. That means quicker answers, sharper decisions and a result that looks exactly like the ideas we discussed.
Today I'm also a first-year Computer Science student at the Institut Supérieur d'Informatique de Mahdia. Theory in the morning, practice every night — the best way to serve your business is to never stop learning.
No agency overhead. No account managers forwarding emails. Just a studio the size of one person, accountable for every pixel.
Four years, three chapters — and the story is only just beginning.
The spark
First websites shipped as a freelancer while finishing school. One early client, BigDatis, taught me what the craft really means: clarity before decoration.
The studio
Devpolis becomes a real studio. Restaurants, clinics, gyms and e-commerce brands across Tunisia trust the same one-man promise: pro, on time, accountable.
The upgrade
First year at ISI Mahdia — Computer Science. Engineering theory finally meets four years of field practice, and the work gets sharper, faster and smarter.
Built on four stubborn principles.
Direct & accountable
One contact, one founder. When something ships, it's signed by the person who built it — never by a faceless company.
Craft over template
No generic themes. Every layout is designed around your sector, your audience and the one thing that makes you different.
Mobile-native
A website is a mobile conversation first. If it doesn't feel effortless on a phone, it doesn't ship.
Never stop learning
Computer Science at ISI Mahdia keeps the theory fresh. Your site benefits from a studio that studies every day.
“Websites are not decorations. They are the first impression, the handshake, and the salesperson that never sleeps.”
Let's build something worth scrolling.
